The first-of-its kind Women of Change awards will be held at the Westin Doha Hotel & Spa on June 21st at 5 pm. An initiative of the Doha Women Forum, the event will be organized by the newly established Wasl Events & Marketing.
The Women of Change awards will honour and recognize women who lead, inspire and empower themselves and others to be agents of change. The awards are open to women of all sectors and nationalities across Qatar and is designed to boost the achievements of outstanding women and changemakers in the community. The awards ceremony will showcase excellence across twenty categories. The organizing team and the Jury members are of all ages and represent different industries, sectors and nationalities in Qatar.
This is one of the many initiatives of the Doha Women Forum, which is continuously striving to bring gender parity in the community for the welfare of women and youth.
The awardees in the different categories will be announced on the gala night which will be attended by leaders from different fields, changemakers, dignitaries, sponsors and media.
The event has been supported by platinum sponsors, NBK Auto and She’s Mercedes, Gold Sponsors Blue Salon and Naseem Healthcare, along with media partners ILoveQatar.net, Qatar Living, Marhaba and What's Up Doha.
