The criminal court has sentenced an Arab expatriate woman accused of killing a pedestrian through reckless driving to one month’s imprisonment. The court also ordered her to pay QR200,000 as blood money to the victim through the insurance company concerned. According to the prosecution, the car driven by the accused fatally hit the accused, an Ethiopian resident, as he was crossing the road.
