Strong northwesterly wind at speeds that may reach 30 knots might kick up dust and reduce horizontal visibility to two kilometres or less at times at some places, according to weather forecast for today. The seas are expected to be rough, with wave jumping from six to 10 feet.
The day will be hot, windy and dusty, with temperatures varying from 46 degrees Celsius during day time and 31 at night.
Day temperatures will be lowest at 39 degrees in Dukhan and Al Ruwais while Messaieed and Al Wakrah will be the hottest (temperature soaring to 46 degrees). In Doha, the maximum temperature forecast is 45 degrees, while the minimum is 36.
