The weather is expected to be windy and dusty across the country for a week starting from Sunday, according to the Metrological Department.
The country will experience a fresh wave of strong northwesterly winds, especially during the day, and the weather would be moderate to fresh in the nights.
According to the forecast, winds will cause moderate to rough waves in the sea reaching up to 10 feet.
Winds could reach speeds of between 25 knots and 35 knots and reach even 40 knots at some places, especially on Tuesday and Wednesday.
The strong northwesterly wind will be accompanied by dusty weather at times, decreasing visibility to less than 2 km at places, especially in open areas and on highways.
Qatar Meteorological department has also advised people to be cautious and take necessary precautions to be safe in the windy and dusty weather.
