Expect an extremely humid Eid Al Adha holiday in Qatar: Weather department

In a circular posted on their Facebook fanpage yesterday (August 20), the Qatar Meteorology Department (QMD) reveals the weather forecast summary for the Eid Al Adha holidays in Qatar from today (August 21) until Friday (August 24).

According to the post, hot weather conditions will continue during the daytime with scattered clouds and high relative humidity which increases sensible temperature. Humid conditions are also expected to increase at night with a chance of mist to fog by dawn especially in open areas causing visibility to drop below 3 km at times.

"The wind during this period is expected to be mainly Northwesternly to Northeasternly ranging between 5-15 kt and it is expected to be fresh on Thursday and Friday reaching 18 kt during the afternoon," it continued.

If you're spending the holidays in the beach, it's actually a good time, said QMD as sea state is expected to be suitable for all activities as with the wave height ranging between 2-4 ft.

Maximum temperatures forecast ranges between 35-42 degree celsius across the country whereas the minimum at night drops between 26-32 degree celsius.

Moreover, the QMD didnt forget to congratulate the people of Qatar on the occasion of Eid Al Adha. May we all have a happy Eid!
