W Hotel hosted the first ‘Chefs Table’, a gathering of 39 executive head chefs from all over Qatar as part of their preparation of the upcoming Diyafa 2009, the fourth edition of the international hotel, restaurant and food exhibition.
Diyafa 2009 will be held from December 1 to 3, at the Doha Exhibition Centre.
Andreas Kurfurst, vice-president of the Emirates Culinary Guild and executive chef of the Renaissance Dubai demonstrated how operating procedures can be flawlessly implemented.
Kurfurst talked about benefits of establishing such a qualified community, one that would cover all aspects of hospitality, be it from its social benefits, professional opportunities, activities, competitions to its trainings and seminars.
Following their mantra, “There is no failure – only feedback”, the Diyafa team said they are strongly headed towards change and growth.
