Vodafone’s new ‘promotional rates’ to ‘frequently called countries’ begin at Dh66 a minute.
The offer, which is valid until December 6, has been launched following the expiry of service provider’s ‘Dh50 a minute international call promotion’ yesterday.
Under this, Vodafone’s customers can call India, Egypt and Sri Lanka at Dh77 a minute, Pakistan, Philippines and Nepal (Dh99), Bangladesh (Dh66), Sudan (QR1.11), Lebanon, Bahrain, Jordan, UAE, Oman and Syria (QR1.22) and UK, US, Iran, Tunisia, Morocco and Turkey (QR1.75). Additionally, Vodafone has lowered its standard international calling rate to QR1.95 a minute from QR2.50.
All Vodafone Qatar customers would receive the ‘special calling rates’ through text messages from today. Vodafone customers do not have to do anything to avail of the offer. All Vodafone customers – prepay (Red) and post-pay (Freedom) will benefit from international calling offers.
