Vodafone Qatar and Al Meera, Qatar’s largest retail chain, have signed a strategic partnership agreement which helps customers buy Vodafone’s “Welcome Packs” and “Top up” scratch cards at all Al Meera stores across Qatar. Vodafone will also hold “weekend activities” at some of Al Meera’s key retail outlets across the country. “Partnering with Vodafone falls within the realm of our expansion plans, by providing more offerings to our customers,” said Dr Mohamed Nasser al-Qahtani, Al Meera Deputy CEO. “We are extremely happy with this new partnership, and look forward to developing our relationship even further in the future,” he said. Al Meera CEO Guy Sauvage said, “Partnership is key to our new strategy and we are delighted to be partnering with Vodafone. Customers will be happy to see that we will now be offering a convenient way to purchase Vodafone’s products. Our entire outlook is based on customer experience, and this is only a sample of what customers can expect from us as we collaborate with other prestigious institutions.” Vodafone Qatar CEO Richard Daly said the partnership with Al Meera was very important as it would enable Vodafone to have a higher geographic reach across highly populated areas in the country that Al Meera serves. This helps us achieve our goal of making it easy for people to connect to Vodafone.”
