Vodafone Qatar appoints new head of CSR

Vodafone Qatar has appointed Dana Haidan as head of Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR). Prior to joining Vodafone, Haidan was the Corporate Citizenship Officer at Qatargas for three years where she managed the company’s CSR programme and social investments. Dana graduated from Carnegie Mellon University with a BS in Business Administration. She was heavily involved as a student volunteer in community service locally and internationally with a number of NGO’s. “I am delighted to welcome Dana to Vodafone. As a young Qatari lady who is passionate about community service, I am certain that she will play a key role in activating Vodafone’s CSR programmes which will add to the economic and social development of the country,” said Jan Mottram, HR director, Vodafone Qatar. “I am very proud to belong to an international organisation that considers CSR an integral part of its business. Being part of such a leading company in sustainability and CSR will enable me to use the vast experience and knowledge of Vodafone in this space to make a difference in the lives of many people in Qatar and contribute to Qatar National Vision 2030,” said Haidan.
