Vodafone Qatar continued the rollout of a series of expansions to its international calling offer yesterday as it introduced new rates for customers calling to Sri Lanka and Pakistan, who will now only pay QR 0.55 per minute. This offer will be valid from December 18 to January 13, 2010. While Vodafone will send a personal SMS message to customers who make most of their international calls to these countries, this rate will be available to all customers, regardless of whether they pay using ‘Freedom’ or ‘Red.’ In addition to these great new rates to Sri Lanka and Pakistan, customers can enjoy great rates to all other countries as well, particularly India (QR 0.44/minute), Bangladesh (0.55/min), Egypt (0.55/min), and Thailand (0.55/min). “This is truly an offer for everyone – with no catches, no footnotes, no fine print and no hidden charges,” said Vodafone Qatar CMO Michael Portz. “With Vodafone you can always count on great value.” http://thepeninsulaqatar.com/Display_news.asp?section=Local_News&subsection=Qatar+News&month=December2009&file=Local_News2009121791829.xml
