Vodafone will continue to offer its half-price special numbers promotion until March 15, 2010. The promotion allows visitors to Vodafone’s website and retail stores to reserve a My Number or Star Number at 50 percent of the original price.
“At Vodafone we pride ourselves on being customer obsessed,” said Geoff Engel, Head of Online Sales and Self Care at Vodafone Qatar. “Our customers love this promotion, so there’s no reason not to keep it going.”
Vodafone offers three types of numbers. The first type, Star Numbers, are any number with a reservation fee beginning at QR1000 and going into the millions (for example 7797777). The second type, My Numbers, are numbers priced at QR500, which may match an existing number or have some other special significance. The third type, Free Numbers, is always available to all of Vodafone customers on either Freedom or Red.
With this promotion, Vodafone is offering its full range of Star Numbers and My Numbers for 50 percent less than the listed reservation fee to customers who purchase Flexi on Freedom online. Meanwhile, in-store customers can reserve Star Numbers with Flexi on Freedom or Red at the same discount as online, or can choose a My Number free with purchase of any Flexi on Freedom.
Vodafone’s website allows customers to search the full range of Vodafone Qatar’s number selection for numbers containing digits of personal significance, such as birthdates, license plate numbers, or any other of their choice.
