DOHA VODAFONE Qatar has revealed that more than one million customers are now using its network. This is a significant milestone in the growth of the company in Qatar. Commenting on this achievement, Vodafone Qatar’s CEO Richard Daly said, “We are very proud that in just three years of operations over one million customers have chosen to become Vodafone customers. To have 55 percent of the population using our services is a great achievement for our shareholders, staff and partners. “I would like to thank all the individuals and institutions in Qatar who helped us to achieve this important milestone. We are committed to fully support the country’s objective to be a truly connected global leader by continuing to use our international expertise to bring innovative and exciting services to customers in Qatar.” The year 2012 was a great year of growth for Vodafone with the introduction of data offers for customers as well as the postpaid launch. With the launch of the services, Vodafone has had great success in attracting new Qatari customers to its network.
