Vodafone announces new calling offer

DOHA: Vodafone yesterday announced details of a new local calling offer. Under this offer, customers can call anyone in Qatar on any network both mobile and land line and pay for the first three minutes and get next 30 minutes absolutely free on every call. All existing customers and new customers that sign up to Vodafone can enjoy this great offer from 13 September till 31 October 2011. There is no special way to opt-in and all customers will have the offer immediately available to them. “There has never been a better time to stay connected to all of your family and friends in Qatar, with 30 minutes free on every call! This great offer is a first in Qatar, and customers get to enjoy it each and every time they pick up the phone to call anyone in the country”, said John Saad, Chief Marketing Officer, Vodafone Qatar. “Vodafone has always brought its customers great offers which give them unbelievable value. We are always listening to our customers and getting their feedback so we can constantly give them offers that delight them”, said Cindy Moussa, Head of Marketing, Vodafone Qatar. Asked about the problem of poor connectivity the Vodafone customers in Qater have been facing, Saad very quickly gave the predictable answer, “We are trying our level best to address the problem. Every single day you will realize a massive improvement how our services are improving.” When asked when the Vodafone customers will start enjoying hassle free connectivity, he said: “Connectivity improvement is a process; we cannot give any fixed deadline for this. Operators who have been in the business for around ten year in other countries even they are continuing to improve their services”, he added. On the issue of unwanted sales promotion messages the customers receive every now and then, Cindy Moussa said: “The messages are sent to inform the customers to update about various schemes and promotions.
