The Ministry of Environment and Climate Change (MOECC) on 10 January 2023 announced that the inspectors of the Wildlife Rehabilitation Unit of the Wildlife Development Department seized 4 violations of entering the wilderness and tampering with the plant environment in a number of wild areas.

The ministry also said that the necessary legal measures for the same have been taken. The Ministry of Environment and Climate Change called on land-goers and camping areas not to enter vehicles into meadows and vegetable flats and not to tamper with them and preserve them, in order to avoid legal accountability and to preserve Qatar's environment.
