The General Directorate of Traffic, in a tweet on 28 April 2023, announced that it has seized five vehicles and arrested their drivers for drifting and driving dangerously on public roads. The tweet also said that legal action is being taken against them.
"With reference to the video circulating about more than one vehicle drifting and manipulating a procession on the public road. The North Traffic Department of the Traffic Patrols and Investigation Department managed to seize five vehicles along with their drivers, and legal measures are being taken with them regarding this violation."
