With reference to the clip circulating on social media about the driver of a vehicle loading people in the trunk, the Traffic Department in Qatar has seized the vehicle and legal measures have been taken against its driver, according to a Tweet by the General Directorate of Traffic at the Ministry of Interior - State of Qatar:

بالإشارة إلى المقطع المُتداول حول قيام قائد مركبة بتحميل اشخاص في الصندوق الخلفي، نُفيدكم علماً بأنه تم ضبط المركبة وأتخاذ الإجراءات القانونية ضد قائدها .

كما تُهيب الإدارة العامة للمرور قائدي المركبات بالإلتزام بالقوانين المرورية ، رافقتكم السلامة .#مرور_قطر pic.twitter.com/0OJtkAacYe

The General Directorate of Traffic also calls on motorists to abide by traffic laws to keep everyone safe on the road.
