Vodafone Qatar announced it will introduce unlimited mobile messaging on weekends to its subscribers starting this weekend.
Grahame Maher, Vodafone Qatar’s chief executive officer, said the unlimited SMS and MMS promo is part of the telecommunications company’s Ramadan and Eid 2009 promotion.
The offer is limited to the country only, said Maher, and will last until the end of September. By then, he said, they will introduce more offers to their customers.
One of the products Vodafone will be launching after Ramadan is its Red prepay product, which is an equivalent of Qatar Telecom’s Hala product.
The weekend free mobile messaging will be available to all existing Vodafone customers, who will automatically be able to avail of the promotion, said Maher, during the official opening of its City Center store yesterday.
