University Expo 2018, aimed at students aged 16+, their parents, school counsellors, principals and career advisors, as well as professionals looking to further advance their academic credentials, is set to take place on 28-29 November 2018 at the Qatar National Convention Centre.

Offering inspirational seminars and career choices with local and international universities, this event will provide students direct access to pertinent information about their futures. Professionals who are considering furthering their executive education will also be able to find their pick of the most prestigious postgraduate courses.

The 2018 edition of University Expo Qatar will welcome more than 3,000 visitors.
“This expo offers an umbrella of information for young people pertaining to their tertiary education such as life as a student, scholarship programmes, managing finances and studying abroad through one-on-one interactions with key university representatives. For those looking to further their experience in their respective fields, there will also be information around postgraduate degrees and courses”, says Mohammed Al Obaidly, Board Member, Informa Tharawat.

University Expo Qatar will welcome over 65 leading universities and education providers from around the world including the largest contingents of universities based in Qatar. College of North Atlantic, Community College Qatar, Hamad Bin Khalifa University (HBKU); a member of Qatar Foundation and Qatar University are among some of the tertiary institutes showcasing at this year’s exhibition.
Over fifteen countries will also be represented including Cyprus, France, Germany, Hong Kong, United Kingdom and the United States of America. International universities showcasing at University Expo Qatar include Middle East Technical University, Penn State University, Swansea University, Texas A&M University and the University of Northumbria to name a few.
In its eighth year, University Expo Qatar allows students and parents to attend over 15 seminars to get personalized advice and detailed explanations concerning any questions or issues they may have about higher education as well as studying overseas. Speakers from these seminars include H.E Ali Zainal, Ambassador of State of Qatar, UNESCO, Melissa Deschamps, Regional Educational Advising Coordinator (REAC), MENA, Education USA, Rawan Khir, Manager –International Education Services, British Council, Dr Ameer Al-Nemrat, Senior Lecturer and Programme Leader, University of East London and Mohamed Salhi, Trade Commissioner, Canadian Embassy.
The University Expo Qatar takes place Wednesday, 28 November and Thursday, 29 November from 8am-1pm & 5pm- 8pm at the Qatar National Convention Centre.
Visitors are encouraged to register for their free pass by visiting: https://www.universityexpoqatar.com/visit. Please note that online registrations close on Sunday, 25 November 2018. After this date, you can register at the venue from 8am onwards on 28 November.
