The Ministry of Municipality announced in a tweet on 3 August 2022, that a restaurant named "Pop It" has been shut for 5 days.

أصدرت بلدية أم صلال قرارا إداريا بإغلاق مطعم "بوب ات" لمدة 5 يوما، وذلك لمخالفته قانون رقم 8 لسنة 1990 بشأن تنظيم مراقبة الأغذية الآدمية.

The closure decision was the by the Umm Salal Municipality as the restaurant was violating Law No. 8 of 1990 which concerns human food control regulation.
