Doha Metro & Lusail Tram has announced via their official Twitter account the launch of two new metrolink routes starting 26 October 2022.

The two new routes will service travelers from Legtaifiya metro station to The Pearl Island.

• M109: Legtaifiya metro station to Viva Bahriya
• M152: Legtaifiya metro station to Abraj Quartier
  

In addition, one of the existing metrolink routes M110 servicing Legtaifiya metro station to The Pearl Island has extended its route to reach Perlita Gardens.
