Ashghal has announced a two-month closure from tomorrow (Saturday) of sections of the service road on Al Khafji Street and Al Shamal Road for road users coming from Al Khafji Street towards the north.
The temporary closure is to enable the construction works of Umm Lekhba Interchange (Landmark Interchange) and the surrounding roads.
During the closure, which is designed in co-ordination with the General Directorate of Traffic, road users heading towards Al Khafji Street will be able to use the first exit on Duhail roundabout instead of Al Khafji service road and continue straight on Al Shamal Road.
They need to use the first right exit to reach Duhail Petrol Station and Duhail Street.
Ashghal will install road signs advising motorists of the traffic shift and request all road users to abide by the speed limit, and follow the road signs to ensure safety.
