Students from different schools in the Mesaieed area were actively involved in the just-concluded Traffic Safety Campaign launched by the major Industrial companies of the Mesaieed Industrial City. The students who participated in various competitions presented excellent road safety drawings and slogans. The organizing committee awarded three best entries received from the four schools. Chris Blain, chairman, Mesaieed Industry City Forum, said hundreds of school students attended the safety lectures and the organising committee received a large number of entries to the different competitions being lined up by it. Hundreds of employees and members of the community also joined the campaign, he said. “We were delighted to have such a large number of students in the event. Seatbelt use, crossing roads wisely, getting in and out of school buses & vehicles, etc were among the topics discussed during some sessions”, Blain said.
