The Ministry of Interior reminds in a tweet that the General Traffic Department has announced that from 16 November 2022, it is a violation to not abide by the conditions and rules set by the Traffic Law No. 19 of 2007 which relates to delivering orders and delivery bike riders. In this law, it is stated that delivery bike riders must adhere to the right lane of the road.

تعلن الإدارة العامة للمرور انه اعتبارا من تاريخ 16 / 11 / 2022 يعد مخالفا لقانون المرور الصادر بالمرسوم بقانون رقم 19 لسنة 2007 من لم يلتزم بشروط وضوابط سير الدراجات النارية الخاصة بتوصيل الطلبات، كما يجب على سائقي دراجات التوصيل الالتزام بالمسار الأيمن #الداخلية_قطر #مرور_قطر pic.twitter.com/7y7qySQq4W

Other regulations include the following:

• The driver must wear a helmet.
• The steering wheel must be held with both hands.
• The order box in the bike must be tested.
