The General Traffic Department has posted a video on its official Twitter account reporting that as part of its efforts to organize and control traffic, the General Traffic Department uses drones to enhance the work of traffic patrols in carrying out their daily tasks to ensure the smooth flow of traffic, as well as to monitor a number of truck violations in all regions of the country.

As per the General Traffic Department, the drones monitor the following violations:

• Traffic at peak times
• Failure to organize and secure the load in a safe manner
• Entering unauthorized areas
• Failure to follow the designated path
