The General Directorate of Traffic has announced in a Tweet that caravan transporting should be done from 8 am to 5 pm.

يرجى الحرص على استخدام الطريق المداري وتفرعاته عند نقل الكرفانات، إلى جانب الالتزام بالجانب الأيمن من الطريق، وعدم التجاوز

Please use the orbital road and its branches while transporting caravans. Keep to the right side of the road and avoid overtaking

The Traffic Department also mentioned that motorists must use the orbital road and its branch roads, taking all safety requirements. They must keep to the right side of the road, and not overtake.

Before transporting the caravan, they must make sure that the caravan should have a working extinguisher, good quality rear (red) and side (yellow) reflectors, safe brakes and tyres and must ensure that the rear light is working.
