The Pearl-Qatar, described as the Middle East’s most luxurious shopping destination, continues to attract the world’s leading fashion and designer brands. The exclusive Toujouri boutique which opened its doors to the public on January 28, adds to the impressive list of brands at The Pearl-Qatar. Toujouri, a Qatar-based international fashion brand, combines traditional techniques with modern silhouettes. It is already being carried by the famous Harrods department store in London. Toujouri’s designer and creative director Lama El Moatessem said: “It has been a labour of love to bring to life Toujouri’s designs and business aspirations with the launch of our flagship store. Acclaimed architect Peter Marino has created a store that not only represents our design aesthetic but also proudly reflects elements of the Qatari landscape.” The Pearl-Qatar’s executive vice president of fashion and retail leasing, Kirk Martin said: “It is our vision to create a world class, luxurious and exclusive retail experience for our residents and visitors.” “Nowhere else can you find such a diverse offering of retail brand names as well as more niche boutiques and stores, in such a glamorous setting. “We aim to bring the best of fashion to Qatar at a retail price competitive with those charged by European retailers. Apart from the biggest names in fashion, homestores and dining, The Pearl-Qatar is also home to a multicultural Mediterranean-style residential community, which when complete will house 41,000 residents. The Pearl-Qatar and United Fashion Company continues to expand its portfolio of world class fashion boutiques on the Island with more high profile stores and boutiques opening in 2012. Gulf Times
