The participants have seized the opportunity to practice running up the Torch Doha staircase to test not only their fitness levels but also their stamina ahead of the official race. The Torch Doha Staircase Run follows on the footsteps of many other important buildings around the world including the Empire State Building in New York and the Berlin Sky Run in Germany. The event has already proven to be hugely successful with all places quickly snapped up within 36 hours after the original announcement.
