Tickets for one of the hottest events in Qatar's sporting calendar -- the 2017 Commercial Bank Qatar Masters -- have just gone on sale to the public today. Those fans wanting to get up-close-and-personal with some of the PGA tour's most preeminent professional golfers can purchase tickets at Virgin Megastores, the Doha Golf Club, The St. Regis Doha hotel, The InterContinental Doha, the Radisson Blu Hotel Doha, Fnac Lagoona Mall, and online at www.q-tickets.com (see the link on our ILQ homepage), and www.800tickets.com
The tournament will see two-time 2015/2016 Champion Branden Grace defend his winning streak title against former Open Champion Paul Lawrie, and former World No. 1 Adam Scott as they vie for the coveted Mother of Pearl trophy and the $2.5 million USD top prize. Rounding out the tournament activities, which will run from January 26-29, 2017, is the ever-popular Public Village where spectators and families can enjoy a wide range of entertainment, from golf clinics for youth, to trick shot shows at the driving range, mini-golf, and gourmet food offerings.
"History is made on the Doha Golf Club course every year, and the 20th edition is set to be the best one yet," expressed Hassan Al Naimi, President, Qatar Golf Association in a press release issued today. "This is a golf fan's chance to get incredibly close to the action and watch legendary golfers at the peak of their craft on a truly unique golf course. We are privileged to be involved in such a prestigious tournament that has grown exponentially year on year, and has created a legacy in Qatar to inspire local golfers and future stars."
