Thundery rain with strong wind has been forecast for Friday at some places in Qatar. Though the Met Office had forecast chances of rain since Tuesday, only brief drizzles have been reported until Thursday.
The maximum temperature is expected to be in the range of 36 to 43C, with the lowest in Al Khor and Ruwais and the highest in Abu Samra.
Mercury had reached beyond 43C yesterday in Doha, marking one of the hottest days since the onset of summer this year. Slight dust and partly cloudy conditions have also been forecast for Friday.
