Weather inshore until 6 pm on 26 January 2023 will be cloudy with rain that may be thundery at times, the Department of Meteorology said in its daily weather report, warning of thundery rain associated with strong wind and low visibility.

Offshore will be partly cloudy to cloudy with scattered rain and may be thundery at times, the report added, warning of thundery rain/strong wind and high sea.

Wind inshore will be southeasterly to northeasterly at a speed of 05 to 15 knots, gusting to 30 knots during thundery rain. Offshore, it will be southeasterly to northeasterly, 10 to 20 knots, gusting 30 knots during thundery rain at times.

Visibility will be 4 to 8 or 1 kilometre or less at places during thundery rain. Sea state inshore will be 2 to 4 feet surging to 5 feet during thundery rain. Offshore it will be 3 to 6 feet surging to 10 feet during thundery rain.
