According to the Department of Meteorology, the inshore weather on Thursday would be moderate during the daytime up until 6 pm with scattered cloud and a strong chance of rain in different places all over Qatar and some thundery episodes during the night time which will become relatively colder with a drop in the temperature by 2-3 degrees. There may also be a thunderstorm during the evening time with the chances of strong winds.

Offshore, there will be clouds with a strong likelihood of scattered rain in the afternoon, which may also be thundery at times. Again, there may be thundery episodes with rain associated with strong winds and a high sea.

The wind inshore will be northwesterly to northeasterly 5 - 15 knots, which will gust up to 22 knots in the places that will face thunder activity. Offshore, it will be northwesterly to northeasterly 5 0 15 knots, which will gust to 22 knots with thunder and rain.

The inshore sea state will be 1 - 2/4 feet with thunder and rain. Offshore, it will be 2 - 4 feet which is bound to rise to approximately 7 feet with thunder and rain.
