Thundershowers with hail were reported yesterday (February 11) from northern areas of Qatar.

Qatar Meteorology Department said that strong Northwesterly wind is expected and there could be a noticeable drop in temperature. Offshore will be partly cloudy to cloudy with scattered rain maybe thundery at times and slight dust to blowing dust at places later.

Relatively cold by night is expected on Tuesday. Qatar Meteorology Department urged everyone to be cautious and to avoid all marine activities.
