According to a Tweet by the Qatar Meteorology Department (Qatar Weather), a thunderstorm is expected tomorrow (Monday, 4 October 2021) that may last till Tuesday, 5 October 2021, and will be accompanied with strong winds and high waves that may rise to 7 feet. The winds will be mostly northeasterly light to moderate with gusts that may go up to 25 knots:

A cyclone called Shaheen hit Oman yesterday and caused the halting of flights to and from Muscat with people living near the coastal areas told to evacuate the area to avoid the cyclone. Heavy rains, floods and strong winds have been seen in Muscat and the Al Batinah area causing damage in the areas.
