Qatar Meteorology Department announced in a tweet on 6 July 2022, scattered rain that has taken place in Eastern parts of Qatar.

They further issued a marine warning as thunder rain along with strong wind is expected along with high seas ranging between 2-4 ft rising to 9 ft..
