The Ministry of Interior announced in a tweet on 5 January that the Department of Combating Economic and Electronic Crimes at the Ministry of Interior has referred three suspects to the Public Prosecution after they committed crimes related to inciting tribal strife through social media.
The ministry notes that the action affects the security and safety of society. The ministry calls on the public to refrain from strife and strive for national cohesion among its members.
