Qatar daily The Peninsula reported that the Minister of Administrative Development, Labour and Social Affairs H.E. Yousef bin Mohammed Al Othman Fakhro inaugurated on Sunday (April 28) the Qatari Family Day at Al Khor Sports Club with the participation of a large number of relevant institutions, bodies, and centers operating in the country.
The three-day event includes an exhibition of home projects and many interactive social activities that cater to the Arab family.
The aim of the Qatari Family Day is to increase the social awareness of all members of the family, to familiarise them with their social rights and duties, to enhance the role of the family in carrying out its basic duties and to support productive families.
