NOTE: We have previously included in this article the Anger Room Qatar, but unfortunately we removed it because the Anger Room management contacted us on 25 September 2019 evening saying they are permanently closed from that point.

Qatar is one of the most beautiful countries in the Gulf region offering a variety of food, desert adventures, attractive beaches, sand dunes and of course, a ray of year-round sunshine that everyone would love to experience. Qatar is also listed as one of the safest countries to visit.

But did you know that this country has more things to offer than what you normally know about it? Here's a quick guide on the things you think don't exist in Qatar:

1) Wrestling school

If you think wrestling entertainment is only limited to Westerners, you'll change your mind upon reading this. The school offers extensive training to develops one's wrestling skills, undergoing rigorous training and tests to maximise their skills and potentials in this sport. 2) Strawberry Farms

Convincingly, science suggests that strawberries can only grow in cold places on Earth. That is a fact that nobody can ever deny, but guess what, Qatar is an exception again. Yes, the country has strawberry farms to offer its residents with sweeter, tastier and juicier strawberries. Since Qatar is mostly covered with deserts, agriculture experts thought of growing these fruits in greenhouse farms and they become successful and one of them is Mazrouah Yard in the Northern part of Qatar. With the help of the Ministry of Municipality and Environment, strawberry farms in Qatar are growing well and alive.

3) Hot Air Balloon ride

Just this year, travel agency Asfary introduced 'hot air balloon ride' to offer the resident of Qatar an opportunity to enjoy and explore the country from a completely different perspective. Now, they're back to take their second flight. In 39 days, the hot balloon ride that people enjoyed a few months ago will fly again the windy skies of Doha. For the price of QR 999, you'll get a chance to see the wonders and brilliance of the country from up above. Be thrilled and experience this once in a lifetime journey to the sky. 4) Outdoor Cinema

Have you ever thought of watching your favourite movies in the scorching heat of the desert? Well, if this idea makes you excited, then you might want to know that Cinema In The Wild (CITW), a group of passionate and equally-talented cinephiles, is turning the 'movie screening in the desert' concept in Qatar a reality! They've screened the classic 'The Good, the Bad, and the Ugly' at Zekreet recently and they'll for sure be holding more desert film marathons in the near future! So if you're keen on this idea of watching films outside, check out their Instagram page once in a while because this outdoor cinema is seasonal and doesn't happen all year round.
