Milipol Qatar 2016 — Monday-Wednesday

Milipol Qatar, the leading international exhibition dedicated to homeland security in the Middle East, returns to Doha this year for its 11th edition.

The exhibition, which has long been a key feature on the security market calendar, will be held under the patronage of HH Sheikh Tamim Bin Hamad Al-Thani, the Emir of the State of Qatar, organized by the Ministry of Interior of the State of Qatar in partnership with the French-based Comexposium Security.

Milipol Qatar will showcase the latest products and service innovations in the fields of security, safety, detection and prevention equipment and systems, as well as various other defense supplies during the course of the three-day event.

Online registration for Milipol Qatar 2016 has officially opened to facilitate smoother entry to visitors who have pre-registered for e-badges.

Chinese Festival — Wednesday-Saturday

The Chinese Festival is presented by Qatar Museums, the Ministry of Culture of China and the Zhejiang Provincial Department of Culture. The festival will present the rich and varied cultures of China in Qatar in a weekend of fun events presented at the MIA Park from 2 – 5 November 2016. Some of Zhejiang’s leading musicians and performers will perform in a beautifully-conceived outdoor setting that will include a Chinese market, Chinese tea house, stage, photography exhibition space, food stalls and a children’s area. China will be celebrated with musical performances, film, children’s activities and delicious food.

European Jazz Festival 2016 — Wednesday-Sunday

The third edition of the popular annual event 'European Jazz Festival' will be held from November 2 to 7 at Katara. This year’s edition is extraordinary in terms of the number of participating countries and the significant participation of the renowned international bands such as Atom String Quartet, Three Fall along with many other bands that will rock Katara’s stage for the event.

ANCOP Global Walk 2016 Qatar — Friday

ANCOP is an annual fundraising event which aims to raise awareness and funds for programs that help the poor, namely Community Development and the Child Sponsorship Program. Karting & Minimoto at Losail Circuit Sports Club — Friday-Sunday

Starting from 20th October, the Karting and Mini Moto Track will be open again.

KARTING:

For Karting, the minimum age is 15 years old and any participant under the age of 18 needs permission signed by a legal guardian to take part in the activity.

It is compulsory to bring a helmet along for safety reasons, if you don’t have one, the circuit can provide one for you.

MINI MOTO:

For the Mini Moto track, participants should bring their own bike and safety equipment.
