Ramadan Activities at Mall of Qatar! — Everyday till June 11


Get ready for a fantastic lineup of Ramadan activities at the Mall of Qatar! There’s a vast selection of restaurants for Iftar and Suhour you can choose from, and a number of other events and activities!

There’ll be a majlis serving fresh Arabic coffee and dates, live painting, calligraphy, henna, and even an oud band performing live!

Ramadan Talks and Lectures Events at MIA — Sunday-Saturday

In order to celebrate and observe the Holy Month, the Museum of Islamic Art will be hosting a series of talks and lectures throughout Ramadan. Although most follow a Ramadan theme, some talks also include Qatar as a topic. Some of the talks this week will be: Ramadan and Sport, Ramadan in the Past, Healthy Food and Ramadan, and more! Most of the lectures will take place in Arabic.

Ladies Training Days at Losail International Circuit — Tuesday

Girls just wanna have fun! The Losail International Circuit will be hosting Ladies Training Days twice a month!

The Losail track will be open only for ladies to be able to exercise in one of the largest venues in Doha with privacy, as well as enjoy a variety of outdoor activities, such as cycling, walking, running or rollerblading.

Bicycles and gear will be available so ladies won’t have to bring their personal cycles from home. There will be special trainers available to provide yoga lessons, a mini-bootcamp; walking, jogging and other activities. There will also be an allocated area for children. A small rental fee for bicycles will be charged: QR 35 for 1st hour, QR 40 for 2nd hour.

You will be asked to complete a registration form and sign a waiver.

Distance: The Track is 5.31km long. You can do as many laps as you like during the scheduled time.

Security: There will be an abaya and bag check-in station. No men will be allowed inside the track area. CCTV will only be monitored by female staff.

*Please note only boys under 9 years of age will be allowed inside the track.*

Training at Losail Circuit Sports Club — Wednesday


Come and enjoy the free cycling, running and walking facilities at Losail International Circuit every Wednesday!

Car Park Area: Inside the Circuit next to the Paddock Restaurant Parking

Cyclists must use the track in an anti-clockwise direction, cycling on the inside of the track, overtaking to the left.

Runners and walkers can use the track in a clockwise direction on the outer track, between the blue line and fence. Crossing of the track is not permitted without the safety marshal's permission.

All cyclists (including small children) must wear a helmet and closed-toe shoes when using the track. A small rental fee will be charged for bicycles: QR 35 for 1st hour, QR 40 for 2nd hour

Anyone under 14 must be accompanied by an adult.

Filipino Fitness & Health in Qatar Iftar Drive — Thursday

The Filipino Fitness & Health in Qatar group (FFHQ) is organizing a campaign called the Iftar Drive 2017 for Ramadan.

The purpose of this Iftar Drive is to spread awareness among commuters to drive safe and not rush home to break their fast. Volunteers will be distributing Iftar packs to those stuck in traffic, so they are able to break their fast!

List of the required items to be donated by any members/volunteers:

  • 350ml bottled water
  • 150ml or 250ml assorted tetrapack juices
  • Dates (small packets)
  • Small twister bags (zipper bags-size 260 L x 180) to pack the items
  • Biscuits (maamoul)

Please confirm the quantity of the item(s) you would like to donate over the phone/through private message.

The target for this campaign is to have at least 1000 packets to be distributed probably along Ramada area or Airport (Family Food Centre) along intersections.

Kandies on a Kayak - Garangao — Friday
