ICYMI: Check out the super compelling photo exhibition by Jessica Fulford-Dobson, the Skate Girls of Kabul. This exhibition tells the extraordinary story of Afghan girls who took up skateboarding, thanks to an Afghan charity that provides skate parks as a hook to get children from disadvantaged families back into the educational system.
Show your love for Qatar at Doha Festival City (DHFC)! DHFC visitors will have the chance to take part in creating the country’s largest mosaic, alongside Qatari artists Lina al-Ali and Radi al-Hajri.
Children and adults are invited to take part in creating a mosaic for Qatar. Once completed, it will be displayed at Sheikh Faisal Bin Qassim Al Thani Museum! Your work will officially be a “work of art”!
Get ready to fire up your Tuesday night at Crystal Lounge with DJ Babey Drew! He’s known for being a world famous DJ, previously being the official DJ for Chris Brown! You should definitely check him out if you’re into the nightlife and music scene!
There’s a lot going on at Doha Festival City starting this weekend! Doha Festival City, the largest entertainment, retail, and hospitality destination in Qatar, is giving families a unique experience this August with numerous beachside adventures organized inside the Mall away from the heat. Visitors will have the best of a summer holiday getaway brought to them through activities and workshops!
SHIPS AHOY!
Dive for treasure, walk the plank and sail the high seas at Doha Festival City’s Pirate themed adventure ball pit. Set to be a sure hit with children of all ages, the colorful ball pit will provide hours of fun for them in their own pirate themed world.

DESERT DUNE DASH
For the high energy adventure lovers, test your racing skills at the remote control (RC) Car Race Track. Families and friends can compete for free by driving their high-speed remote control cars through various tight turns on our sand dunes to the finish line!

SEASIDE WORKS OF ART
With a different seaside theme each weekend in August, children can have their faces painted, decorate stones, paint shells or personalize their own t-shirts. All creations can be kept, taken home and shown off to friends and family!

SUMMERTIME MODELING
Enhance children’s creativity with interactive play at Summertime Modelling. With sparkly ocean coloured Play-Doh as well as kinetic sand. Children will be able to create their own beach scene and show off their creations to family and friends!

It’s time to give back to our community with a beach cleanup this weekend!
The departure will be at 2:30 pm from Dairy Queen (near Radisson Blue, C-Ring and Salwa Road). Be cool, be on time!
What to bring with you :
- Your ID / RP - Water, Water, Water! Think of the environment and fill up a reusable bottle! - Hats - Proper shoes to walk on the beach to protect your feet from broken glass. Water shoes if you have some! - Old grocery bags to collect the garbage - Gloves if you want to protect your hands - Towel and change of clothes - Sunscreen or long sleeves shirts and pants - Anything else you want to bring!
People are welcome to bring food as there will be a potluck, but there is no obligation of course!

The Doha Comedy Festival is back for a 4th edition! Hosted by Hamad Al-Amari, the comedic lineup includes world-renowned comedian Maz Jobrani, the biggest English-speaking comedian in India, Vir Das, the king of Lebanese comedy Nemr, and the pioneer of Palestinian-American standup comedy Mo Amer! This cultural mashup is sure to crack you up!
