Qatar is going to break The Guinness World Record through the largest number of people playing Hide and Seek on the 10th of February 2012 at Katara – Cultural Village. The Youth Company is proud to become “Official Youth Partner” of this extraordinary event and to ensure high participation of Youth in this activity. “Hide & Seek”, organized by Luminescence Events - Stenden University, aims not only to become the largest game of Hide & Seek ever played in the world, but also to collect funds for charity. Accumulated money or goods through the above-mentioned activity will be directly offered to Qatar Red Crescent. The game will take place between 3:00 to 5:30 in the afternoon, however participants will jive and enjoy with live music performances, celebrations and fun networking during the whole day. Partnership with “Hide & Seek” Event reinforces The Youth Company’s commitment to developing responsible and socially active youth. Being the first youth-run social enterprise in the region, TYC is always striving to bring out or promote initiatives, which will provide a platform for young people to interact, network and collaborate in creation of impactful outcomes. Mohamed Farid, CEO of The Youth Company, shared his opinion regarding how important this kind of initiative is: “While for majority of the people, upcoming “Hide & Seek” game might seem to be not more than just a funny pastime, we really consider it as a unique occasion for all the citizens of the country, despite of their age or nationality, to come together and have a chance to mark the history of Qatar with getting Guinness Record holder title. We are extremely committed to ensure high participation of youth in the event, which gives people opportunity to communicate and network, promotes power of joint efforts, importance of high ambitions and social responsibility, while being so much fun and enjoyable process.” The Youth Company would like to congratulate organizers of the event for creating such motivating and exciting idea and wish all the best of luck in breaking The Guinness Record.
