The magical evening hosted by the ‘Universal Events’ team, a group of ten students from Stenden University Qatar on 01 July 2012 at Katara astounded the audience with magical tricks and dance performances. ‘The Magical Night’ was hosted as part of the International Business and Management Studies programme of Stenden University Qatar. The study program IBMS has recently been approved by the Supreme Education Council of Qatar. This four-year bachelor program is taught in English and its European degree is recognized in Qatar and globally. Admission is open until the end of August 2012 for studies starting in September 2012. The aim of the event was to raise funds to support social community development in underdeveloped countries like Kosovo and Indonesia. The event featured international magician Andrew Lee who performed in Qatar for the first time. He stunned the audience with various mind-reading and interactive magical tricks. ‘Last Stamp’, a local break dance group, showed their dance skills and Issa Fahoum, the youngest stand-up comedian in Qatar, entertained the audience as well. The event attracted an audience of 360 participants some of whom won prizes during the raffle draw. ‘Universal Event’ is grateful for the sponsors who aided and supported this event in becoming a success. The sponsors were Regency Group (Gold Sponsor), AHB Properties (Silver Sponsor), Chevron Phillips (Silver Sponsor) and Lahore Tire Center (Bronze Sponsor). Andrew Lee (61).jpg ILQ NEWS
