His Highness the Amir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al-Thani has expressed his condolences upon the tragic passing of Queen Elizabeth II on 8 September 2022 at the age of 96.
The Amir described her as a great human symbol who served as an inspiration and nobility. He also commemorates the important relations between Qatar and the UK during her reign that strengthened the bonds of friendship and partnership between the nations.
Queen Elizabeth II reigned over the United Kingdom for 70 years since 1952.
