His Highness The Amir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al-Thani arrived Friday in Cairo on an official visit to the sisterly Arab Republic of Egypt.

H.H. the Amir was welcomed upon arrival at the Cairo International Airport by his H.E. President of the Arab Republic of Egypt Abdel Fattah El Sisi.

As per Nadeeb Qatar, this is the first time the Amir has visited Egypt since 2015.

Also welcoming H.H. the Amir upon arrival were a number of Their Excellencies ministers and senior officials as well as H.E. the Ambassador of the State of Qatar to the Arab Republic of Egypt Salem bin Mubarak Al Shafi, H.E. Ambassador of the Arab Republic of Egypt to the State of Qatar Amr El Sherbini, and Qatar embassy members.

His Highness is accompanied by H.H. Personal Representative of H.H. the Amir Sheikh Jassim bin Hamad Al-Thani and an official delegation.
