H.H. the Amir issued Emiri Order No. (3) of 2023 on 7 March 2023 to form a new Council of Ministers.
The appointed Council of Ministers included many ministers continuing the positions they were holding, and some new ministers were appointed.
The Council of Ministers also includes three women, specifically for the Ministry of Public Health, Education & Higher Education and Social Development & Family.
The appointed Council of Ministers is as follows:
- Prime Minister & Minister of Foreign Affairs - H.E. Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman Al Thani
- Deputy Prime Minister & Minister of State for Defense Affairs - H.E. Dr. Khalid bin Muhammad Al Attiyah
- Minister of Interior - H.E. Sheikh Khalifa bin Hamad bin Khalifa Al Thani
- Minister of Finance - H.E. Mr Ali bin Ahmed Al Kuwari
- Minister of Communications - H.E. Mr Jassim bin Saif bin Ahmed Al Sulaiti
- Minister of Sports and Youth - H.E. Mr Salah bin Ghanem Al Ali
- Minister of Public Health - H.E. Dr Hanan bint Muhammad Al-Kuwari
- Minister of State for Energy Affairs & member of the Council of Ministers - H.E. Mr Saad bin Sherida Al Kaabi
- Minister of Awqaf & Islamic Affairs - H.E. Mr Ghanim bin Shaheen bin Ghanim Al Ghanim

As per the orders of H.H. The Amir, the Council of Ministers is to be implemented from the date of its issuance.
