The mercury level will rise above the average levels, exceeding mid-30Cs in some areas, as southeasterly-southwesterly winds are expected to affect the country on Friday and Saturday, the Qatar Met department has said.
Temperatures, though, are expected to return to their normal range on March 18, with the wind direction shifting to northerly.
Fresh to strong northwesterly winds are expected to affect the country from Saturday night until the beginning of March 19.
Friday’s forecast, meanwhile, says there is a weak chance of light rain in some inshore areas as well as offshore towards the north by tonight. (Source)
