The cold spell being witnessed by Qatar since the past few days is expected to continue in the coming days with temperatures that may dip below 10 degrees during the nights and early mornings in the southern areas of the country, according to the Qatar Meteorology Department (Civil Aviation Authority Qatar).
The clouds are also expected to increase gradually from the evening of tomorrow (14 January) evening until the beginning of
Wednesday (15 January) with a chance of scattered rain and northwesterly fresh to strong winds in some areas.
In light of the above weather conditions, the Qatar Meteorology Department has urged the people in Qatar to avoid going in the sea and continue to stay up-to-date with the weather conditions in Qatar through the Department's social media accounts, especially since marine warnings are still in effect upto Wednesday.
