Talent across Doha show up for Sami Yusuf Open Auditions

Announcing the winners of the Sami Yusuf Competition Katara, Cultural Village is proud to announce Abdulla Al Mullaa, Mohammad Al Mana, Nadir Abdul Salam, Jana Hajj-Ali, and Mohammad Mohammad Ouda, the five winners of the open auditions which offered participants the chance to sing during the Sami Yusuf concert. Sami Yusuf; one of the most prominent artists who coined the term Spiritique - a phrase given to his music which incorporates and utilizes Middle Eastern and Western harmonics is due to perform at Katara’s Amphitheatre on Thursday 6th December at 8:00pm. Participants showcased their talents to a panel of judges which included Sami Yusuf, Khalid Al Jaber, Manager of Public Relations and Communications, Katara, and Ahmed Salim, Producer and Director of ETM International who commented on the occasion: “We were blown away by the many talents we have seen whilst here in Qatar and it has been refreshing to see so many music enthusiasts in the region. On behalf of our team we would like to congratulate the winners and we wish them all the best on Thursday. “The team is thrilled to perform to a diverse audience in Qatar in a truly unique location such as Katara’s Amphitheatre, we are ready to put on a remarkable show which spreads the message of peace and love,” he continued. Dr. Khalid Al Jaber, Manager of Public Relations and Communications, Katara commented: “We are proud to announce the winners of the open auditions will be performing at Katara’s Amphitheatre during the Sami Yusuf’s concert.
