According to BBC Science Focus, the biggest full moon of the year will be visible on the evening of 3 July 2023.
This supermoon is also called the 'Buck Moon' after the new antlers that begin to grow on a buck deer at this time of year after shedding in the early spring. This also signifies that summer season has arrived.
Community members have reported sightings of the supermoon in various locations in Qatar.
