The Ministry of Municipality and Environment (MME), represented by the Public Parks Department, has come up with “a unique initiative to preserve the lives of birds” by hanging water pots throughout the country’s parks.
The initiative aims to provide birds with water to allow them to quench their thirst, especially in view of the high temperatures experienced during the summer, the MME has said in a statement.
It is also considered an effective way of increasing the number of birds in places such as gardens and parks.
